This is basically a one-off. Tarantulus has so many spare Waspinator parts that he decides to put them to good use and builds an entirely new Waspinator.

Story Post:

Tarantulus reclined in front of his multitudes of view screens. He especially kept an optic on the camera overlooking his giant web. Some prey would be rather enjoyable right now.

He glanced over at some spare parts lying around and then to some incompleted ambitions of his. He let out a sigh, he didn't feel like finishing any of them. He was bored.

Suddenly, something exploded into a nearby cliff that one of his camera's had been monitoring from. The screen went to static. Tarantulus shot to attention, "Perfect timing." he chuckled excitedingly. He hoped to find something entertaining. He rewound the camera's feed to show Waspinator spiraling out of control.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZWHAM!!!

Tarantulus sat back into his seat. "How dissapointing." This was nothing new. He tapped in a few keys and soon one of his small spiderling drones was on the scene. It quickly pieced the camera back together and turned it back on.

The image on the screen came back to life but was strangely as though looking through hundreds of optics. Tarantulus quickly deduced that his drone made use of one of Waspinator's optics as a temporary canera lens.

"Hmmm, interesting." he rubbed his chin. He glanced over at his pile of spare parts, taking note of the multitudes of Waspinator parts among them. He looked back at the camera. Then again at the junkpile. Then back to the camera.

"Teehee...haha...MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!"

An idea sprang to life!

After a few cycles it was completed. Tarantulus hauled his creation into the Predacon base and onto a hover pad. He floated up to Megatron's command chair and before him he had his creation and a large cloth draped over it, so as not to ruin the surprise.

"Behold!" Tarantulus exclaimed to his leader.

"I'll deal with you in a moment insect." replied Tarantulus. Then he thought for a moment. "Hmmm, actually, I've dealing with you all day! Bwahahahaha!!!" he laughed ferociously.

After yet even more insessant laughing and chuckling Tarantulus finally looked back up at Megatron, he cleared his throat, "You see, before you now lies the future! Aren't you curious as to what it is?" he said slyly. Then he chuckled a bit more.

"Of course Megatron." he replied slyly.

"Behold!" he said, yet again. He grasped the cloth in his clutches and ripped it from it's placement.

"I present to all of you, Waspinator 2.0!"

Before them stood an exact scale Waspinator, like something from Frankenstein's monster, pieces from every battle of the Beast Wars were attached perfectly to form one solid, fighting machine. The only recognizable different was the paint scheme. A dark purple and chrome with gold trim, Tarantulus's favorite of colors.

"Yes, I did create a new you Waspinator. Fortunately, unlike you, my TARANTULATOR is a skilled warrior who isn't prone to exploding. I rather like then name Tarantulator. Either that or Waspilus." he rubbed his split maw.

"Well simply put, there isn't enough pieces of say, Rampage or Inferno to make another of them. Pieces of Waspinator are far easier to come by." he explained. " And after our encounter with Starscream's spark, I believe that Waspinator's body is an ideal combat machine, but he lacks the competence."

Tarantulus then took a device from somewhere behind him that is neither explained nor questioned. It was a small discus. He tapped the center of it and it began to transform and expand...into what appeared to be a crown. It was gold with what appeared to be purple gems set into the points. In actuality, they were precise components for mental linkage. Some of Tarantulus's most prized iventions. The crown also seemed vaguely familiar of another crown from long ago...

"But with this," he held it to Megatron's gaze, "I can control him to do my bidding."

Tarantulus froze in pure anger and surprise. Waspinator just snatched the crown from his clutches! "No! Give that back you worthless simpleton! The whole point of making that was so itwouldn't be like you!" he yelled in his classic raspy tone.

Tarantulus then postumously snatched his venom laced harpoon launcher and proceeded to skewer Waspinator to the wall. "That'll teach you to look with your eyes pest!" he chuckled.

The missile struck Tarantulus in his chest and blasted him to the far end of the chamber. Tarantulus clutched a ledging, desperately trying not to fall into the scorching lava below. He transformed and began to climb along the wall slowly, the missile taking it's toll. "Insolent crustacean!" he yelled back as a few of his limbs popped off and fell helplessly into the churning lava below.

Rampage pulled out his rifle and considered shooting Tarantulas into the lava below. He glanced to Megatron briefly. Rampage retracted his arm, leaving Tarantulas be.

"He lives for the moment.", Rampage spoke up to Megatron.

unfortunatly only waspinator's upper half was able to get free

Inferno came into the chamber on a hovering platform, battered from his routine patrol. He was missing his antennae, one of his insectoid ant legs, and punctures in his body sputtered sparks and thin streams of fluid and gas. One of his optics was cracked and his com reciever completly destroyed.

He saluted hastily, "My Queen! Maximals have intruded on Colony ground!" he alerted.

"Thank you, Subcomander." Megatron spoke. "An excellent opportunity to test our new... BUMBLEbee. Yeaasss." Megatron manipulated the controls and the Faux Waspinator flew to Inferno's side. "My... Avatar, and Rampage will accompany you subcomander. Eradicate the Maximal intruders!"

Outside the base, Inferno's thrusters sputtered and backfired retardedly. Finally, after exerting some effort, they roared to glory and he lifted from the ground. He whipped out his prized flamethrower and pointed it into the sky, "Come drones! For tonight, we dine on Maximals! For this, is, The Colony!!!" With that energetic "speech" he shot into the air.

Far behind the trio, Tarantulus stalked in the shadows, tailing them.

As Megatron guided BUMBLEbee towards his goal , he discovered he quite liked the idea of fighting from the third person. There was merit to the idea of sparkless drones...

Tarantulus scurried in the shadows, trying feverishly to keep the pace up and not get left behind. He scowled as he cursed Megatron and Rampage. And everone else for that matter. How dare they take his invention from him!

Outraged, he was determined to use the flare of battle to his advantage, and regain control of BUMBLEbe-eeerrr...Tarantultor.

Rampage flew out of the Dark Syde and leapt off of the platform, letting it smash into a large rock nearby. He transformed into his tank-crab form and grinded into the ground as he took off.

Rampage hated them all...wanted them all dead.

Rampage rolled along behind Inferno. He contemplated blasting the ant out of the sky, then slowly removing his limbs afterwards. It would be a satisfying thing to watch the ant struggle.

After some traveling, Inferno stopped forward movement and hovered in place. "There!" he yelled. "There the tresspasser's are!"

Just beyond them were a group of Maximals, feverishly working on destroying one of Megatron's jamming towers on the outskirts of Predacon territory.

Inferno, clasping the handle of his flamethrower, pointed it in the Maximal's direction, "PREDACONS....TEEERRROOORRRRRIIIIZZZZEEEE!!!"

Inferno's thrusters shot him off at maximum burn downwards towards the Maximals. He feverishly began firing charges at them one by one.

"FOR THE COLONY!"

Rhinox turned to see Inferno again. "Slag!", the green Maximal called out as he grabbed his Chaingun O' Doom!

Rhinox began firing at Inferno, aiming for the Predacons' mid-section and "blender panels".

Airazor darted upwards, shooting at Inferno with her razor-sharp forearm darts. She noticed the other Predacons coming.

"Rhinox! We've got trouble! Several more Preds!", she called out to him.

The combined fire of the Maximals was well aimed and effective in finding their target in Inferno. Two of his blades blasted off courtesy of Rhinox and several wrist arrows jutting from his side and shoulder, he fell the final distance and impacted with the ground.

Dazed but not defeated, Inferno layed there a few moments, unable to register exactly just what happened. Perhaps Megatron should have put him in a CR chamber first.

The Wasp Drone transformed and began a series of complex aerial maneuvers.

Megatron grinning at the controls wondered how Waspinator EVER got hit.
"Now to see if the wasp can sting, yessss."

The drone abruptly zipped out of his pattern and swooped in front of Rhinox firing at point blank range.

Rhinox tried to move, but couldn't...

...finding an energy blast nailing him in the chestplate, spinning him wildly.

"SSSSLLAAAAGG!", Rhinox called out as he spun and hit the ground.

"RHINOX!", Airazor cried out, and twisted in the air, firing at the Waspinator-Thingie-Bot. Her aerial skills were rarely matched, if ever. She was sure she could take out this purple clone-thing.

"Cheetor, MAXIMIZE! Reeaawr!" Cheetor growled as he transformed to robot mode. "What is that thing?" Cheetor ported his rifle and began firing at the Waspinator looking thing. "Is that Waspinator?"

Cheetor then saw the lumbering behemoth in Rampage coming their way, "Heads up guys! Looks like Rampage is gonna join the party!"

Tarantulus skittered close behind. As the battle began, he took refuge behind a nearby formation of rock. "How conveniently placed." he said, amusing himself. He transformed and kneeled in the shadows.

He tapped into his internal computer and brought up his mental link and activated it. He scanned the area, of course only finding BUMBLEbee as the only applicable target. The others lacked the subservient subconscience programming he needed for him to hack into their minds.

He quickly downloaded some data from the cloned Waspinator and viewed it's current status. "Good, it has not yet been damaged at the hands of that over-grown salamander." he chittered. He began to activate a sudden intrusion code and in a few moments, he would regain control of Tarantuluator, silently.

But as usual, that was not the ultimate goal of his master plan. Just as soon as the transfer was complete, he would allow Megatron to continue his supposed control of Waspilator, while at the same time, Tarantulus will be using the clone as a transmiter/reciever directly linked with the crown on Megatron's head. Tarantulus began chuckling a tad harder in his raspy tone. The sheer thought of penetrating Megatron's mind and making him his slave was of great amusement.

"I knew he would fall for my ploy." he chuckled to himself.

Rhinox ran to the left, in a wide arch, he aimed his chaingun at Rampage.

"Oh slag. Never get's easy.", Rhinox mumbled to himself as he went.

Inferno finally stood up and ran towards the Maximals in a fiery rage of u;timate fury. He dove near them brandishing his flamethrower, then he ported another flamethrower. Dual-weilding his weapons, Inferno fired maniacally as his wicked laugh polluted the air. "Ahahahahaha! Fooor theeeee Colooonnnnyyyyy!!!" he screamed.

Meanwhile, Tarantulus's hacking sequence was nearly completed. Soon he would be in Megatron's mind...literally.

The energy back flow caused the neck actuators of the Wasp Drones operator to twitch uncontrollably. His optics widened as Taratulus took complete control.

At that moment Megatron returned from the lubricant expulsion chamber. "Thank you for stepping in Quickstrike. I hate to let my fluids clot its bad for the... linkage...?" Megatron noticed the twitching form of Quickstrike sitting in his command chair holding the Drone Controls. "What the Slag?"

"Teehheeheheheehehahaha!!!" Tarantulus laughed exponentially. "Success!!! Now mighty Megatron, lets see what your mind holds dear! Ahahahaha!"

Tarantulus mentally dove into what he thought was Megatron's mind. He saw some perplexing things. He saw memories of fightin' rough 'n' tumblin' style....wait, something seemed familiar but didn't feel like Megatron. Wasn't his style.

Tarantulus dove down deeper, he should be encountering dark ambitions of universal conquest here, but the programming reflected nothing but basic desires for animalistic carnage.

"What is this?" Tarantulus hissed, growing increasingly enraged.

Megatron attached the second power lead to Quickstrike's head.

"Computer. Activate CR pool 3, configure for unit: Quickstrike." He said with a grin.

"Dammage clasification?" The computer asked.

"Energon Feedback." Megatron cooed. "Yeaaas." He threw a switch that sent energon surging through Quickstrike's cranium into his processor and out through he Drone Crown too...

In a mere second, Tarantulus was expelled from Quickstrike's mind. He felt like he had been launched out of a cannon whilst being electrocuted at the same time. "Gyaaaaahhh!" he screamed in agony as he attempted to unsuccesfully gain control of the situation.

The energy exploded the Tarantulator's head as it passed through and continued to follow through any external link, namely, Tarantulus's own mind. The power surge was immense!

He cackled and screeched with pain as he stumbled out into the battlefield. As Tarantulus's mind and body overloaded with excess energy and in a state of extreme agony, Tarantulus's braincore zipped from memory to repulsive movement and caused him to dance and scream and sing across the warzone like a broken marionette with a blown vocal cord."NYAAAAAHHHH- wentupthewaterspout-AAARRGGGGHHHHH-downcametherain-RRRRRRGGGGHHHHH-andwashedthespiderout-AGAHAAHAHAHAHAH!!!"

Rampage turned and shot at Tarantulus, "The annoyance of such a Predacon should be squashed immediately!"

Rampage turned as Rhinox's chaingun erupted across Rampage's frame.

"Gyyaaahhhhh!", Rampage called out as he fired at the rhino. Rhinox leaped as best he could, but the explosion landed too close and sent him flipping through the air in an uncontrolled freefall.

Cheetor jumped to the left, avoiding the missile, as he did the missile impacted on a nearby rock formation, blasting it to rubble. A large chunk of stone flew out, smashing into Cheetor, and left him dazed on the ground.

Rhinxo rolled and tumbled across the ground as Rampage began to stalk towards him.

"That horn of your's would make an excellent trophy for my collection, Maximal. Your hide as well. I wonder how much you'll scream when I remove it?", Rampage commented menacingly as he approached the downed Rhinox.

Rhinox shook his head a bit and grunted as he tried to regain his senses. He looked over to see Cheetor struggling to stand as well.

"C-Cheetor. Take to the air!", Rhinox ordered.

Cheetor nodded awkwardly and transformed...only to find Rampage's foot in his beast mode's face!

"GAH!", the transmetal cat cried as he flew backwards from the kick.

"Little Kitty. Don't go yet. I'm just about to start having fun.", the psychopath said.

Tarantulus's heated uncontrollable unfollowable dance of dimwittery made him a nearly untargetable foe. He hopped around, jittering and skittering, babbling incoherent sentences when he bumped into Rampage's back from seemingly nowhere.

Rampage turned to see Tarantulus run into him, only to immediately be caught off-balance by Silverbolt's divebomb charge. "Nnnyyaaah!!", Rampage growled as he jumped back to his feet and grabbed Tarantulus up. Then he tossed the spider-bot at Silverbolt like an arrow of spidery doom!

"I'll mount your wings to my wall!", Rampage snarled as he threw Tarantulus.

Tarantulus screamed and laughed and screamed some more as he was flung with Rampage's brute force. He was the Arachnid Arrow of Abominable Animosity! This much was true!

Megatron Regained control of the Wasp Drone, as Quickstrike's dammaged frame slit out of his chair.

"Let's put this to bed."

The Wasp drone, stopped shuddering and snapped its attention towards Silverbolt. He sped toward the fuzor with purpose.

"Get off me, Predicon."He said pushing Tarantulus off. As Silverbolt stood up, he felt something grab him from behind. He turned his head over to see the Wasp drone. The arms of the Wasp drone's were rapped around Silverbolt. Arms was holding back his wings and his arms. Seeing that the only weapon left was his head, he tried to head bang the Wasp drone.

Tarantulus fell from the sky and landed with a thud. Almost immediately getting back on his feet and continuing his dance of despair and song of stupidity, "IIIIII, AM A SOOOOLDDIIEERR, GOOOOIINNNGGG, TOO THE WAAAARRRR GYAAHHAAHAHAHMAKEITSTOP IIIIII HAAAAVVEE A RRIIIIFFFFLLEE, I HOPE MY FELLOWS WONT KNOCK, ON MY MOMMAS DOOOOORRRR ARRRRGHGHGHGKILLME!"

Rampage started to stomp towards Silverbolt, prepping to rip the bird-dog apart as he was now preoccupied. Suddenly Rhinox charged and tackled Rampage, knockign the king crab to the ground. Rhinox sat on top of Rampage's chest.

"Not today!", Rhinox said as he punched down on top of Rampage's forehead! Rampage's head snapped back then immediately forward.

"Oh is that best you can do Maximal?", Rampage mocked. Rhinox responded with a second hit to Rampage's mouth.

"Heahaha. Come now. You can do better.", the psychopath sneered.

As Rhinox started to punch a third time, Rampage grabbed his hand, squeezing it.

"Ennghh.", the green Maximal grunted as his hand was being crushed ever so slightly.

Rampage pulled Rhinox right off of him, still holding on to his hand. Rampage spun Rhinox around so his back was to the crab-bot. Rampage gripped Rhinox's arm and hand, then jerked forward on his elbow while snapping back his hand.

KRACK! KRUNK!

Rampage snapped Rhinox's arm in half, tearing it off at the elbow!

"YAAAGGGHHH!", Rhinox screamed as his body fell over to the ground. Rampage dangled the Maximal's arm around like a loose piece of meat.

"Ah yes. Those are the sounds that make my spark worth pulsing.", Rampage enjoyed this moment. He stomped down on to the back of Rhinox.

"How much more can you take Maximal? How many more screams are in there?", Rampage asked with a horrible tone of lust for murder.

"Cheetor, help!" yelled Silverbolt. He felt the pressure of the squeeze get harder and harder. It felt like his spark was going to explode. He twisted to side to side, trying to get free. He yelled in agony, again trying to escape the clutches of the Wasp drone.

Cheetor stood up and shook his head, "I hate that crab."

Cheetor then heard Silverbolt's cry. Cheetor narrowed his optics and lept into the air, thrusters igniting. As Cheetor went to assist 'Bolt, Cheetor halted to watch Rampage begin his dissection of Rhinox.

"Rhinox!", Cheetor dashed downwards and transformed to dropkick Rampage in the side of the head. Cheetor placed his hands together and fired several green bolts into Rampage's chest. The transmetal cat whipped out his bladed tail whip and slung it around Rampage's leg, yanking the limb out from under Rampage's body. Rampage hit the ground with a hard thud!

The psychotic crab grabbed Cheetor's whip and jerked the cat to him. Rampage grappled Cheetor around the neck and began choking the cat-bot as the crab stood up.

"No more kitty-cat! My spark will thrive on the terror within your eyes as I crush the life from you!", Rampage threatened.

Rhinox staggered to his feet, "Not. A. Chance."

Rhinox ran at Rampage, stomping the king crab in the side of the knee, then grabbing him by the arm. Rampage was slung to the side and rolled across the ground. The crab-bot's grip on Cheetor was loosened as he rolled. Cheetor awkwardly jumped away and landed on his knees.

Rampage started to stand up, but Rhinox grabbed him by a crab claw on his back. Rhinox tossed Rampage into a tall rocky formation. Big Green charged as Rampage tried to stand. Rhinox slid, kicking Rampage in the side and hip, smashing him into the rocks.

Rampage punched Rhinox in the face, knocking him backwards.

"NNNYYAAAAAHH!!", Rampage screamed out in anger.

Cheetor jumped up, turned, and fired bolts at Ramapge.

Rhinox commanded, "Cheetor! Help Silverbolt!"

Then Cheetor spun and fired at the Wasp Drone.

The first two shots caught the drone dead on knocking him off the Maximal Fuzor. He zig-zagged skyward trying to dodge Cheetors barrage.

Silverbolt fell to the ground, grabbing his sides. he then stood up and grabbed one of his feather blades and slung one of them at Rampage while Rampage's back was turned.

Rampage jerked forward slightly as a bladed feather smacked into his back, right in the claw. It bounced off the claw, leaving only a tiny mark, but it definitely got Rampage's attention.

Rampage turned and roared at Silverbolt, "Fuzor! I'll--"

Rhinox was back at Rampage, running with full-force. Rampage grabbed the hornheaded bot as he charged. The psychotic crab spun around, slinging him through the nearest large rock formation.

CRASH!

Rhinox shattered through the large rocks and tumbled along the ground. He shook his head and struggled to try to stand. One optic was cracked and his back hurt.

Cheetor transformed and took off towards Rampage, trying to slam into him with a quick-charge. Rampage reeled back as he grappled the transmetal kitty who had just whammed into his chest. Rampage slammed Cheetor to the ground, bouncing him like a ball.

Rampage grabbed Cheetor's tail and whipped him up and then back down to the ground, smashing in one of Cheetor's side-thrusters. The crab-bot picked up Cheetor and backhanded the cat.

Next thing Cheetor knew, he was in mid-air, having been tossed at Silverbolt like a wrecking ball!

Inferno stood there. Completely split. On one hand, he wanted to destroy the Maximals. On the other, he didn't care much for the spider. Plus no one even seemed to notice his psychotic charge earlier.

He shrugged. He aimed one of his flamethrowers and fired, blowing Tarantulus into a large boulder. Tarantulus steamed from burnt circuitry and finally slid to a sitting position like a swatted fly and into stasis lock.

Inferno then turned his attention towards the Maximals. "You all will burn for your heresy." he said darkly. He aimed his twin flamethrowers at everyone and everything and switched them over to be just that. Flamethrowers. He let loose a sermon of burning fire all about him.

"Those who defy The Royalty, MUST, BURN! AHAHAHAHA!!!"

Rhinox stood and ran to Rampage, grabbing him by his arm and spun around in two 360 turns, then released him, tossing the crab towards Inferno.

"NGGH!", Rhinox grunted as he let Rampage go.

Rhinox staggered and hit the ground as flames erupted all around him.

Airazor flew wide and come up behind Inferno, "Hello there."

Airazor fired multiple razor-sharp darts at Inferno.

The darts connected with Inferno's back. "ARGH!" He fell to his knees. Unfortunately for him, he looked up to see what appeard to be a fisherman's worst nightmare.

Rampage slammed into Inferno! His head crunched with the impact and his body flailed about like a puppet with cut strings as he was smashed into the ground under Rampage's weight!

Rhinox tried to stand and move out of the fire that had engulfed the area around him, but he couldn't. He rolled and crawled as best he could to move out of the blaze. Airazor darted downward, throwing her hand out.

"Come on big guy! Let's go!"

Rhinox reached up and took her hand, but Airazor couldn't lift him. Rhinox was too big, too heavy. As she struggled, her assistance managed to help Rhinox to his feet.

"I-I got it.", Rhinox said.

He let her hand go and walked through the fire. When he came out of it, he was a charred and burned mess. His organic skin was burned severely. Rhinox collapsed to one knee, "Ngghnn."

Airazor flew down to the station terminal and put in a Code X call to Optimus Primal. They needed assistance right now!

Airazor turned and put her arms up in defense right as blasts ripped into her frame, sending her flipped backwards off her feet.

"Ahh! Uhhn!", she cried out as he was hit and tumbled across the ground.

Tarantulus continued to glitch out and tumbled head-long into the jamming tower the Maximals had been trying to dismantle previously. The final bit of strain on it's structure sent pieces flying. Rods and pipes began popping off or fracturing from stress and the whole thing came down like a game of Jenga.

Right on top of Tarantulus. "Gyaaaaaa------!!!!"

The defeated spider had effectively completed the Maximals job for them.

The wasp drone landed standing over the injured Airrazor. It leveled it's weapon at her.

Back at the Pred base, Megatron took glee in his victory.

"He he..Its time Wazzzp drone..." Megatron shook his head... "I mean time I plucked this... turkeybot!" Megatron didn't know why he said that. "Computer! Prepare a diagnostic drone! I think I may need debugging." He grinned. "Just as soon as I finish this Maximal... YEZZZZZZZ."

Megatron heard something in his voice, and realized what was happening to him...

"NOOOOO!!!" He screamed clutching the control crown. "The STUPIDITY is CONTAGIOUS!!!" He ripped the control device from his helmet and threw it into the lava.

Else where...

The wasp drone twitched for a moment, then fell like a marionette with it's strings cut.

Rhinox turned to see the headless drone twitch and fall over. "Wha?", he asked.

Airazor pushed herself up, clutching her side. "That was...lucky.", the bird-bot said as she fired a few darts into the drone for good measure.

Airazor stood up fully, grunted a bit as she did. Rhinox walked awkwardly limping towards her.

"NNYYYAAAAAAHHHH!!!", Rampage erupted up from the ground. His psychotic mind set on vengenance and death. "Ripping you apart will be beyond rewarding.", the crab said as he began to stalk to them.

A flattened and headless Inferno scrambled about like he was...missing his head! It was barely hanging on by a few wires. He grabbed it and forced it back into his neckhole and pounded on it's top for good measure, resulting in him having no neck at all.

He then saw his flamethrowers about 10 yards away and he made a mad dash for them.

Rhinox stood in front of Airazor, "Get out of her Airazor. Go!"

"No way.", she said as he fired several darts into Rampage's chest.

"Oooo-ohahha. Nice try fembot.", Rampage mocked as he began to walk faster towards them, savoring the moments as he saw their desperation and fear.

BOOM!

Suddenly, Rampage was blasted off his feet!

Optimus Primal came racing around, with his shoulder guns smoking as he flew downwards towards the battlefield.

"Maximals regroup! I've got the crab!", Primal called out.

Cheetor pushed himself to his feet and looked up to see Optimus swoop down, grabbing Rampage by a crab leg and haul him into the air.

"Way to go Big-Bot!", the cat praised.

Optimus hoisted Rampage up as the crab struggled to reach up and pull at the ape. Primal spun 360, tossing Rampage out, away from him.

"Nnnooo!! I'll get you Maximal!", Rampage screamed as he was launched towards a large cliff face. SMACK! Rampage collided with the cliff and tumbled downwards.

Primal raced back to his Maximals, as he did Cheetor spun and fired at Inferno. Optimus shifted and began firing at the ant-bot as well.

The shots collided with Inferno's rear thrusters, causing them to malfunction further and smoke...then ignite!

Inferno screamed as he tumbled mid-flight, his thrusters jettisoning him far into the distance...

Primal landed beside Rhinox and Airazor. Cheetor helped Silverbolt steady himself before walking to greet Optimus.

"Nice save Optimus. We really needed it.", the cat-bot said with a smile.

"Indeed.", Primal responded, "You holding up Rhinox?"

"I'll make it. Preds came out of nowhere."

"Well get on.", Primal transformed his flight-board, "You know the drill."

Rhinox hesitantly climbed on to Optimus' flight-board. Cheetor collected Rhinox's arm, tossing it back to Rhinox, who placed it in his lap. Airazor stretched a bit before taking flight again. Primal took off slowly, making his way up to the air. Cheetor transformed and took off after Optimus and Airazor.

"You guys should really try to take it easy next time.", Optimus joked with a slight chuckle.

"Tell that to the Preds.", Cheetor commented.

Rhinox sat back a bit against Primal's legs. He sure was tired, ready for a long stasis-nap.

Megatron sat in his CR bath using a plasma torch to burn/clean the points at which the control crown had touched his head.

"Even that buffoon's used skidplates are stupid..." He grumbled.

Outside the Darksyde, Quickstrike stood laughing, holding onto a thick long wire. "Hehehe, hows the view up there partner!?" he yelled up. "Ole boss bot in there said this was a fittin' punishment fer ya! I figured it'd be more fun to slag ya but now I kin see he was right! Hehe! This is more fun then blastin' Maxis in a barrel!!!"

Attached to the other end of said wire, a worn and beaten Tarantulus flew in the sky fastened to a kite-like aparatus. "I'll get you for this!!! I'll get you all!!! Nyaaaaahhh!!!" he screamed as a hot gust of wind sent him tumbling higher into the redened sky.

On the back of the kite, a visage of Waspinator's head grinned at Tarantulus's torment with delight. He wanted to make a Waspinator drone....now he was the Waspinator drone!
