The Dinobots are a tight-knit group of elite warriors within the Autobot ranks. They are arrogant, aggressive, and extremely powerful. Few can match their individual combat abilities and even less can defeat them as a whole team. None of them care for Optimus Prime, and they will usually not follow his orders unless it involves something they actually enjoy, such as violent destruction upon the Decepticons.

Grimlock	Quote – “Me, Grimlock, Badass!” Function – Dinobot Commander Alt Mode – Tyrannosaurus Rex Grimlock leads his close-knit team of elite warriors known as the Dinobots. Grimlock and his Dinobots are some of the most powerful Transformers ever constructed. They are all powerhouses of destruction, which Grimlock utilizes to great advantage. Grimlock hates those that are weak and cannot fight for themselves. He respects courage, battle prowess, tactical strength, and physical power. He hates Optimus Prime, but respects him for being such a good leader and capable soldier on the battlefield. He resents authority and will push those that outrank him simply to irritate them and buck the system. While he is hard to work with, he is a valiant warrior and does believe the Decepticons are wrong, at least for now. In T-Rex mode, his jaws are super-strong and he can breathe either super-heated flames or shoot heat-based laser beams from his mouth. In robot mode he can also fire a weaker version of his heat beams from his fingertips. Grimlock wields a very powerful energo-sword and a galaxial rocket launcher in robot mode as his primary weapons. His only real weaknesses are his arrogance and his slower speed in T-Rex mode.
Slag	Quote – “Slag hates everything.” Function – Dinobot Flamethrower, Front Line Combat Alt Mode – Triceratops Slag is constantly angry, full of angst, mean-spirited, obsessed with combat, and will fight even his closest comrades whenever he feels the need. However, despite all this, Slag is a powerful warrior to have on your side. He is immensely strong and can smash through heavily-reinforced Decepticon bunkers as if they were nothing but twigs and Styrofoam. Slag has the hottest burning flame breath of all the Dinobots. His flame breath can reach temperatures greater than 3000 degrees Celsius, allowing him to instantly melt down a foe into a puddle of molten metals. In Triceratops mode, his horns can fire bolts of powerful electric energy. Uses an energo-sword and an electron blaster in robot mode. Due to his attitude problem and his willingness to attack anyone whenever he feels it, many of his comrades will not come to his aid if he ever gets into more trouble than he can handle. Which isn’t that often. Slag as a psychotic glitch in his braincore that causes him to go completely insane for a few minutes every 4,000,000 years. One time during his insane killing spree, Slag killed an entire platoon of Autobots. Grimlock and the other Dinobots covered this up and made it look like a Decepticon ambush. The other Dinobots don’t ever talk about this fact. Ever.
Sludge	Quote – “Sludge no like. Let’s stomp!” Function – Dinobot Jungle Warrior, Demolitions Alt Mode – Brontosaurus Sludge is the dumbest of the Dinobots. He is just not that bright, but he is one of the most powerful of them, maybe being stronger than Grimlock if he ever pushed himself. His foot stomps can shatter a bridge and cause great tremors. He is shy and a gentle giant. He likes human beings and other smaller creatures. He dislikes Grimlock’s philosophy of destroying the weak. He is also not fond of constantly fighting, unlike his Dinobot comrades. He is often loud when walking and prefers to let others know he is coming. He is very talented in maneuvering swamps, marshes, and waterways, and he excels as a combatant in these locations. In Dino mode, he can breath heat-based laser breath, shoot heat beams from his eyes, and shatter a mountainside with his whip-like tail. Uses an energo-sword and missile launcher in robot mode as his main weapons.
Snarl	Quote – “Not like we don’t enjoy this senseless killing!” Function – Dinobot Desert Warrior, Swordsman Alt Mode – Stegosaurus One of the most unsociable beings in existence, Snarl hates spending much time with anyone. He hates much of his current life. The only thing he finds solace and happiness in are the thrills of combat and destruction. He follows Grimlock’s order because he respects the Dinobot Commander, but he also hates Grimlock for being too pushy and constantly annoying Snarl. Snarl finds his Dino mode to be ugly. He longs to return to Cybertron someday. He isn’t one for talking much, preferring to let his actions speak for themselves. He gives very few opinions. The plates of his Stegosaurus mode are solar collectors, increasing his strength tenfold while in the sunlight. This gives him the capability of being the strongest Dinobot physically, provided he’s absorbed enough solar energy. His Dino mode’s tail is his greatest weapon, able to shatter armor and fire beams of intense heat energy. He is a highly-skilled swordsman, possibly rivaling Grimlock.
Swoop	Quote – “You’re Dead.” Function – Dinobot Bombardier, Scout Alt Mode – Pteranodon Swoop is the nicest Dinobot, being both kindhearted and more open to talking to others that aren’t Dinobots. He doesn’t feel the need to insult most others, nor hate human beings for being smaller and weaker than Cybertronians. He believes causing fear and panic on the battlefield is the greatest weapon a warrior can have. His favorite pastime is to fly over the battlefield, watching his enemies scatter from his dives and bomb drops. He is physically the weakest of the Dinobots, but still much stronger than most other Autobots. Despite being a great warrior and enjoying combat, Swoop does not agree with Grimlock’s view of hurting those that are weaker. In Dino mode, uses powerful twin missile launchers, heat beam breath, and heat-based lasers that are fired from his eyes. Wields a thermal sword and missile launchers in robot mode. His Dino mode’s wings are fragile and easily-damaged compared to the rest of him.
