Aerialbots
Silverbolt |
Quote – “Aerialbots, let’s move!” Function –
Aerialbot Leader Alt Mode – Concord SST Jet
Silverbolt is determined, brave, a bit grim, and the most relatable
member of the Aerialbots. He works to wrangle in the other Aerialbots to be more team players within the Autobot ranks. Silverbolt
is fast, mature, noble, and a mech of morals. He is easily the most responsible of the Aerialbots, and makes a superb commander
for them. Slingshot often makes jokes at Silverbolt’s expense, but Silverbolt is the one who more often than not is
pulling his team through the tough missions. Silverbolt has a near-crippling fear of heights, which tugs at him as he leads
his team of high-flyers. Optimus Prime put him in charge of the Aerialbots because of his maturity and the hopes that if Silverbolt
worried about the mantle of leadership and the well-being of his teammates it would keep his mind off his fear of heights.
So far it’s paid off. In concord mode, Silverbolt’s nosecone fires high-powered electrical bolts. In robot mode,
he wields a powerful electro-static discharger rifle. Forms the torso and head of Superion. |

Air Raid |
Quote – “If you look first, you may not leap.” Function
– Aerialbot Warrior Alt Mode – Boeing F-15C Eagle Fighter Jet
Air Raid is rash, fearless, and always
eager to tackle some Decepticons. He charges in hard, attacks fast, and never looks back. Some consider him the best warrior
within the Aerialbots; others think he’s just a young, reckless idiot. Air Raid is a bot who only wants to have fun,
and his definition of fun is streaking into a cluster of Decepticons with guns’a’blazin’ and then turning
around and doing it again! He is often in moments of great danger, but he enjoys it immensely. As a jet he carries twin air-to-air
missiles and has a refuel range of nearly 1500 miles. In robot mode, he uses a torque rifle that fires a beam of pure psi-force.
This beam of force causes his targets to twist and rotate at a rapid pace, crunching and mangling them. Merges into Superion
with the other Aerialbots. Once took on Trypticon alone. He was shot down of course, but the boy’s got diodes. |

Fireflight |
Quote – “When I’m flying, nobody’s safe.” Function
– Aerialbot Reconnaissance Alt Mode – McDonnel Douglas F-4B Phantom II Jet
Fireflight is a daydreamer
and never pays attention to where he’s going. This is very bad since it often results in him ramming into his fellow
Aerialbots or other objects while flying several thousand feet off the ground. He loves to spend time just being in his own
mind, ignoring others as a result even though that’s not his intent. He works hard and is one of the friendliest Aerialbots.
Views the world around him with an almost child-like wonder. Enjoys looking down at the Earth below him with his undercarriage
sensors as he flies; doesn’t help his daydreaming or mid-air collisions. In jet mode, Fireflight has a refuel range
of 1000 miles and carries “fire-fog” missiles that explode in mid-air, creating a fog bank of fiery mist. In robot
mode uses a photon displacer pistol that distorts the light around the path of his aim, creating unfocused and wavy vision
that leads to disorientation in those around him. He also carries a standard-issued laser pistol. Form Superion with the rest
of the Aerialbots. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Fireflight.jpg) |
Skydive |
Quote – “Only by studying the past can we win the present.” Function
– Aerialbot Air Warfare Specialist Alt Mode – F-16C Fighting Falcon Fighter Jet
The nerd of the Aerialbots,
Skydive prefers to read about aerial warfare than actually participate in it. He is fascinated with earthen jets and the history
of aerial combat on Earth and Cybertron. Skydive can, within the limits of his personal design, mimic the maneuvers of most
aircraft. He is the best flyer of the Aerialbots and may be the fest flyer of all the Autobots. In robot mode, he uses a high-powered
“nega-gun”. The “nega-gun” fires beams of an experimental type that attacks the molecular bonds of
objects, causing them to stress, fracture, crack, and buckle. This weapon is highly painful to his foes. While in jet mode,
he has a refuel range of 1400 miles and suffers from random mid-air stalls. His alt mode weaponry includes twin laser-guided
missiles and a low-powered nosecone laser. Combines to form Superion with the other Aerialbots. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Skydive.jpg) |
Slingshot |
Quote – “I’m even better than I think.” Function
– Aerialbot Ground Troop Support Alt Mode – McDonnel Douglas AV-8B Harrier II Jet
Arrogant, annoying,
and again very arrogant. Slingshot is a bragging piece of slag, but one with a good work ethic. He works hard, but will boast
about every little thing he does. Deep down, Slingshot has a lot of secret insecurities and self-loathing. Feels he is better
than the ground-based Autobots because he can fly under his own power. In jet mode, he is extremely maneuverable and an excellent
sharpshooter. His jet form carries twin mortar launchers as well as a nosecone laser and has a refuel range of nearly 800
miles. Uses a neutron gun in robot mode; fires thin laser beams infused with neutrons. Combines with other Aerialbots to form
Superion, but usually claims he’s the reason for Superion’s successes. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Slingshot.jpg) |
Superion |
Quote – “To live is to fight, to die is to stop.” Function
– Aerialbot Super-Warrior Alt Mode – Separated Aerialbots
Superion is the combined form of the Aerialbots.
He is a fearsome fighting machine. His braincore capacity is very limited however, as it can only handle enough programming
for two main objectives outside self-preservation: destroy the Decepticons and protect all innocent sentient beings. Initially
the only process Superion could follow was to defeat the Decepticons. This made him unable to protect any human beings around
him and Superion almost killed several humans. Silverbolt forcibly disassembled the Aerialbots instead of allowing Superion
to recklessly harm innocent lives. His programming has now been upgraded to allow him to protect others. Due to his limited
mental functions, Superion can not adapt to many situations and he can be defeated through sheer tactical intelligence. He
uses a powerful arm-mounted electro-static cannon and can fly tremendously fast. |

Protectobots
Hot Spot |
Quote – “Rust never sleeps. Neither do I.” Function –
Protectobot Leader Alt Mode – Mitsubishi Fuso Great Fire Truck
Hot Spot is gung-ho, and that’s an understatement.
He is always on the move, constantly going and doing. He is a bot of action. The other Protectobots struggle to keep up with
his pace. He is charismatic, very intelligent, and extremely skilled in ranged combat. He also runs on a lot of natural battle
instinct, something most Autobots don’t have. Hot Spot’s greatest ability however is his commanding presence and
charismatic leadership. This allows him to command the Protectobots as a well-oiled machine, even with the fundamental differences
of First Aid and Blades. Wields twin semi-automatic fireballs cannons that shoot superheated balls of flame. Can convert into
a repair bay as a third form to assist First Aid’s repairs while in the field, however he usually is too far away and
too busy to actually do this. Forms the torso and head of Defensor. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/HotSpot.jpg) |
Blades |
Quote – “War is a dirty game, and I’m a dirty player!” Function
– Protectobot Air Support Alt Mode - Bell UH-1V Iroquois Helicopter
Blades is a street fighter, a down-n-dirty
brawler who loves to trounce Decepticons in close-quarters combat. Loves to use his copter rotors to slice his foes in two.
He enjoys feeling the spray of mech-fluid splatter against his exo-structure. He is a very violent Autobot. His function usually
keeps him at a distance from his enemies, but he’ll find an excuse to come into close combat and cut some suckers up!
In helicopter mode, Blades carries twin “smart rocket” launchers that fire small rockets that chase selected targets
based on encoded computer images. Blades uses a large photon pistol in robot mode (when he isn’t gutting or punching
foes). Combines with the other Protectobots to form Defensor, a being who is nothing like Blades. He is likely the only Autobot
who frequently desires to kick other Cybertronians in the diodes. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Blades.jpg) |
First Aid |
Quote – “I just want this war to end.” Function –
Protectobot Doctor Alt Mode – Toyota Town Ace Ambulance
A pacifist at heart, he hates to fight or harm any
mechanical being or device, alive or not. He feels great sympathy for any form of machine, even ones that don’t know
they are in pain, such as a malfunctioning traffic light or a broken refrigerator. First Aid hates being thrown out to the
frontline, but is usually ordered to retrieve injured comrades. When faced with war directly in front of him, First Aid’s
emotions run wild as he wants to save everything and everyone. He is second only to Ratchet in his surgical skills and medical
knowledge. He carries a kit of surgical tools that can be accessed at any time for immediate, emergency repairs. While in
vehicle mode, he can use a roof-mounted dual-barreled decrystallizer cannon that breaks down the tensile strength in metals,
making them more brittle and easier to fracture. In robot mode, he carries a small photon pistol. Combines with other Protectobots
to form Defensor. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/FirstAid.jpg) |
Groove |
Quote – “War is a problem, not a solution.” Function
– Protectobot Scout Alt Mode – Motorcycle
A free spirit with a pacifist’s heart, Groove loves
the open road and the wind blowing against him. He is carefree and happy-go-lucky most of the time. Groove often has a hard
time engaging the Decepticons in direct combat. He also finds it hard to accept his role as a member of the Protectobots.
He loves rescuing and helping innocents, but can not stand the battling and constant military expectations. In cycle mode
he has a range of 800 miles before needing to refuel. Uses a photon pistol in robot mode. While in vehicle mode, Groove carries
twin side-mounted vaporator cannons that fire oxidizing, freezing or acidic mists. Joins the other Protectobots to merge into
Defensor. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Groove.jpg) |
Streetwise |
Quote – “You have to know where you are before you know what to
do.” Function – Protectobot Interceptor Alt Mode – Nissan 300ZX Turbo Police Car
Streetwise
has the ability to study and adapt to almost any environment around him. He has a great eye for detail and usually nothing
escapes his keen notice. He is among the most determined of all Autobots. Once he’s tracking down prey, he never gives
up until they are caught or he’s pulled off the hunt by High Command. He is clever and superb at thinking on his feet.
He has several high-yield sensors that he can use in both modes, this includes limited radar and energy-signature trackers.
In police cruiser mode, he can use a rear-mounted double-barrel air-compression cannon that fires high-impact bursts of pressurized
air. He also carries a photon pistol in robot mode. Can be either an arm or leg for Defensor. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Streetwise.jpg) |
Defensor |
Quote – “Must protect the humans!” Function – Protectobot
Super-Warrior Alt Mode – Separated Protectobots
Defensor is a being with the single drive to protect the innocent
and weak. He views human beings almost as if they were his “children”. He is very determined to protect anyone
and anything from the Decepticons. He has an incredible dislike for the Combaticons and Bruticus, who are the antithesis to
what Defensor stands for. Defensor is one of the most mentally well adjusted Gestalts ever created. The combining motives
and emotions of the Protectobots merge so well that his mind is free to think on its own. He does not suffer from limited
intelligence or brain capacity. While he isn’t a rocket scientist (Computron), he is still one of the most intelligent
Gestalts around. Despite his love of human beings, the humans are often afraid of him because of his sheer size and alien
nature. He uses Hot Spot’s twin fireball cannons as his main armaments. Defensor’s most unique ability is generating
a powerful force field around his body. This force field can be expanded from 3 inches off of Defensor’s body to nearly
50 ft in diameter around him. However, this field is very draining on his fuel reserves as well as his main systems. |
![[image]](http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm266/Jonhide/Sparks%20of%20War%20-%20Character%20Images/Defensor.jpg) |
Technobots
Scattershot |
Quote – “Decepticons are like rust spots -- they're ugly and they
can pop up anywhere.” Function – Technobot Leader Alt Mode – Starcruiser
Smart, tough, gruff,
quick, and battle-tested, Scattershot makes for a pretty good leader on paper. However, he also doesn’t bother with
real strategy most of the time. Usually his strategy is to mobilize troops on a one-way ticket to shooting every enemy that
moves. He goes into the battlefield with guns’a’blazin’ and never looks back. He lacks patience for most
strategies. Scattershot’s rule of thumb is to keep shooting until he’s either out of ammo, out of energon, or
been knocked into stasis-lock. Surprisingly though, at times Scattershot will use caution and well-rounded strategy. It is
unknown why he flip-flops between his typical “shoot ‘em all” impulses and actual battle tactics. It could
be a braincore glitch or random acts of boredom, no one really knows. In starscruiser mode, Scattershot has a large amount
of weaponry, including a front-mounted electron pulse cannon that fires massive waves of ionized electrons that disable the
guidance and navigation systems in ships as well as cause massive electrical damage to the superstructures of Cybertronians.
His other alt mode armaments include wing-mounted thermal laser cannons and sonic emitters. In robot mode, he uses a high-powered
acid pellet rifle. He forms the torso and head for Computron. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Scattershot.jpg) |
Afterburner |
Quote – “Following leaders leads nowhere!” Function –
Technobot Gunner Alt Mode – Hi-Tech Supercharged Motorcycle
Afterburner is quick to anger and jumps into any
fracas with reckless abandon. He has a penchant for blasting foes way more times than necessary. He’s uncooperative,
carries a mean attitude, and will rebel against strict commands. He hates authority to the utmost degree (Grimlock, anyone?).
In cycle mode, his tires secrete a mild adhesive, allowing him to run up along walls, and he utilizes solid fuel rocket packs
that increase his land speed to nearly 450 mph. Also in cycle mode, he uses a rapid-fire plasma-pulse cannon and a dual incendiary
missile launcher. While in robot form, Afterburner carries a sonic pistol that fires high-pitched ultrasonic waves in condensed
beam form. These beam waves can twist steel beams upon impact as well as disrupt the audio receptors of nearby foes. While
combined into Computron, Afterburner’s rage and nasty demeanor is subdued for unknown reasons. Eventually, however,
Afterburner is killed along with Nosecone and Lightspeed. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Afterburner.jpg) |
Lightspeed |
Quote – “Space travel is the only flight to freedom.” Function
– Technobot Data Processor Alt Mode – Hi-Tech Turbo-Racer
Lightspeed has it all: he’s smart, quick,
strong, and good-looking (by Cybertronian standards). However, he is also extremely emo and can’t see that he’s
got it so good. He is full of depression and longs to be an interstellar spacecraft flying through deep space, relishing in
not having to be confined to a ground-based mode. However, he knows he must stay and assist the Autobots. He is the least
warmongering of the Technobots, but is still a good warrior none-the-less. Lightspeed is the only Cybertronian in existence
thus far to be allergic to energon (as well as most other types of fuels). This is due to an unknown viral glitch within his
conversion processors. He must ingest a special lead sulfide additive when refueling or suffer rust rashes and loud engine
knocking as well as mild disorientation from time to time. In racer mode, he uses twin infrared-targeting missile launchers.
While a robot, Lightspeed uses an automatic light-burst pistol that fires blinding beams of solar energy. These beams aren’t
particularly offensive, but can blind anyone who looks in their direction without shielded optics. Makes up a large portion
of the combined data processing of Computron. He is eventually killed along with two of the other Computron limbs. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/lightspeed.jpg) |
Nosecone |
Quote – “It’s not who’s the fastest, it’s who
reaches the finish line!” Function – Technobot Assault Alt Mode – Drill Assault Tank
Nosecone
is slow, methodical, and a perfectionist. He focuses huge amounts of precision into any task he undertakes. He never rushes
and the large amount of time he takes to do anything can get on his fellow Technobots’ nerves. However, he always does
the job right and his results are the best of any other Technobot member, by a lot. He has the best endurance and armor of
any Gestalt limb, able to weather heavy artillery fire as if it was a small rain shower. In drill tank mode, he can burrow
through reinforced bunkers as if they were mush and is equipped with twin rocket-propelled missile launchers that use a vidicon
camera grid targeting system. He uses a powerful X-Ray pistol in robot mode. This pistol emits beams of concentrated radiation
mixed with waves of heated light energy. In the future Nosecone, along with Lightspeed and Afterburner, is destroyed. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Nosecone.jpg) |
Strafe |
Quote – “Shoot everywhere! Yahoo!” Function – Technobot
Aerial Gunner Alt Mode – Starfighter Jet
Strafe is nervous most of the time. He’s high-strung and becomes
easily-unnerved by long moments of silence. He can be loud and overly-talkative. He is gentle, smart, and kindhearted towards
all his fellow Autobots. He never aims, just flies onto the battlefield spraying ammo everywhere he can. This is tragic due
to Strafe being one of the best marksmen on Cybertron when he actually calms down and takes his time, which is a rarity. He
is a good pilot and navigations officer on larger starships. In starfighter mode, Strafe uses twin light-pulse cannons that
fire beams of intense ionic light energy which blinds optical sensors, damages sensitive unshielded circuitry, and hits with
a hard impact. Carries heat ray rifle in robot mode. Eventually in the future Strafe is heavily-damaged and rebuilt into a
non-Gestalt body. This coupled with the destruction of Nosecone, Lightspeed, and Afterburner forever ends the Gestalt-formation
of Computron. |
![[image]](http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f285/havoks169/Strafe.jpg) |
Computron |
Quote – “Complete data analysis is essential for the synthesis
of successful strategy.” Function – Technobot Super-Warrior Alt Mode – Separated Technobots
Computron
is one of the most intelligent beings in the universe. He is also one of the most methodical. He will always make the right
decision, but the time it takes to make it is tremendous. He has to analyze every angle, every possibility, and every outcome
before he moves a servo. This is the ultimate bane of Computron, because even if he does the right thing (and he always will),
the time it takes to act almost always gives the Decepticons a chance to devastate the Autobots. He uses Scattershot’s
acid pellet rifle in combat. Computron’s intelligence comes from a super-computer braincore with an infinite storage
matrix and highly-advanced data processing center. Abominus is the main rival of Computron, possessing the physical strength
to match Computron’s amazing intellect. In the future, the Technobots are blitzed and three members perish, one is rebuilt,
and the other survives relatively A-Okay. |
